Sometimes artwork get sold for incredibly high prices. Why don’t we take a look at world’s 10 most expensive paintings?

10. “Irises” by Vincent van Gogh (1889). In 1987, the Australian collector Alan Bond paid for it a total of 54,000,000$.

9. “Woman with Crossed Arms” by Pablo Picasso (Femme aux Bras Croisés, 1901). The painting was sold for 55,000,000$ in New York Christie’s auction.

1. “Adele Bloch Bauer I Portrait” by Gustav Klimt (1907). The painting is also known as “Golden Adele” or “Austrian Mona Liza”. In 2006, the American enterpriser and the director of New York Museum of Contemporary Arts Ronald S. Lauder bought it for 135 million dollars.
